…..well tomorrow anyway.
I can no longer ignore the passing of time and the ever fast approaching Milton Keynes marathon so the start of the New Year means the start of my training.
I have added my training plan to the blog, this is for a sub 4 hour marathon! Yeah right! No chance I will make this but thought I may as well do the training for it, it can’t hurt, can it? The mileage I will complete, but the pace times will vary wildly! (In much lower figures)
This week saw me go to the dentist for an emergency filling after breaking my tooth on Mum’s roast potato (I will be seeking compensation) and on the same day go to the opticians, needless to say no running was done that day, after call you can’t run with sore mouth and sore eyes can you? (Thats all my excuses used up for 2011 thank heavens we start a new year tonight)
I did manage a 4 mile run mid-week with a pace of under 10 minute miles so really pleased with that, if only that could be sustained for the remaining 22.2
