I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. I now run because it has become part of me and who I am.
Moved to Devon, from flat Essex four years ago, love it, just wish the hills were not so hilly!
Completed VLM four times and 2016 saw me move on to a 50k, loved it, there will be more!
Good luck at the VLM this year
Hi. I cycled some of those Devon Hills (from Taunton to Exeter via Honiton, Seaton, Ottery St Mary, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth) and realised they are NOT rolling hills but bloomin mountains!
I run those hills just living 10 minutes from Ottery St Mary and yes some days they feel like mountains!
I wish they had more hills around where I live, it would help me so much with training for the Spartan Race. Oh well, for now I’ll have to settle with inclines on a treadmill 😀

Good luck
Those hilly hills can be killer! Good on you for running them anyway!
I nominated you for a Liebster Award on my blog–check it out! http://mewsingsofacat.wordpress.com/2014/04/02/liebster-award/
You’ll be loving the hills in no time!
Well been running them Devon hills for 18 months now and still not loving them though I am sure they are doing me a power of good- maybe!
Good luck at London! Great race and atmosphere, you’ll love it!
