Well it has been ages since I have blogged. Not really sure why I’ve stopped, I’m still running, still racing, still lolloping over the Devon countryside but just don’t have the inclination to tap out a tale on the keyboard.
Recently WordPress wrote to me informing me at the end of this month I was due to make a payment so seems a good idea to draw a line under Shazruns and step away from blogging.
It’s been fun, I’ve met some great people and been fortunate enough to meet some in person. Thanks for being part of my life. Hugs to you all.
I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Well I can’t say I won’t miss the occasional catch up and reminder of glorious Devon countryside in pictures… But goodness knows, I’m aware things have their time and their place.
Glad to hear you’re still running. I hope you keep enjoying it and all that you do.
Be blessed and know that you are.
