Christmas day was lovely complete with a fantastic dinner of Lasagne, sausages wrapped in bacon and red cabbage.
Boxing day dawned and the weather was lovely, I threw on my kit along with bright pink skechers and went out for a gentle 3 miles.
Such enthusiasm and committment! I could lie and tell you that this was so, that my desire to crack on with my training for the MK marathon was uppermost in my mind all Christmas so when the first chance came up I was out the door like a greyhound determined to start my training schedule. However this was not so, this particular miracle has not occurred YET!
No this was the motivation behind the run:-
Yep if mother in law thinks my bum is this big its time to run! On the upside I guess I wont get a cold in my kidneys with these lovely Bridget Jones’s!!
Happy New Year to you all only 5 more sleeps till Janathon!
HAHAHAHAHAH They are HUGE!! Your bottom is not that bit – trust me! I can’t believe that its les sthan 17 weeks til the mArathon eeeekkkkkk!
16 weeks till mine – waaahhh
Where I come from, those beauties are known as “apple catchers”. You never know, they might be the perfect pair of running pants (lots of storage space for gels, keys, lasagne etc).
Well done for getting started on the mara training (whatever the incentive!) K x
you can wear them outside your tights like superman! and no way is your bum big !
HAHAHAHAHA teeheehee
Alma has beaten me to it. Wear them on the outside and be superwoman! Better than the chickens for a third world village that my mother in law gave us!!
HA HA!! It’s not too late to join Janathon & offer them up as a prize for one of us lucky girls? If I’m to win them, I’d better start eating more “cakes & biscuits,” yum! Oh but wait, if I start eating now, I’ll never win for miles run, that’s for sure… oof, I’d be too full 🙂

Maybe they aren’t large. Maybe they are just not very far away. 😉
