If you were a visiting Alien, I would like to think that it is not completely obvious that runners sleep here! However, Sherlock Holmes would only need to step in through the front door to know right away that some of the occupants partake in this physical activity. I would also like to think that it would be something he would notice through sight rather than smell, although this would be up for debate. This is the stash of trainers two of us own
There are off road, road, spikes, track, casual, old, new, smelly, dirty, clean, yes we like a selection.
Proceeding down the hallway the Hi Vis might also give it away
The Living room tops things off with reading matter, tools of torture and photographs
and if you peaked in the kitchen cupboard this might also give it away

Yes my pack has arrived. No I have not opened it. You see if I do it will make it all the more real. I will try and be brave and peak inside later this week, but first I must get my last long run out of the way. Tomorrow I will do the Exe to Axe, it will be tough, it will be hilly, but for me its a training run, I shall let others race it. I am just hoping not to get lost ‘remember keep the sea on the right and follow the acorn signs’.
Have you heard of the very popular ‘Axe to Ex’ ? It sounds like it should be a reverse of your run, but is in fact a bloody call to arms for jilted lovers.
Yours sounds like better training for a marathon, though.
