Day 9 (yes even the title is dull-maybe skip this one, come back tomorrow!)

Juneathon Activites Day 9

  • 1 min plank
  • 60 squats
  • 7 hours standing as no spare chairs on course
  • Collection of Madam who swam 6 x 25m, then ran 1500m in school aquathlon, as her mother clearly some of this is my doing. (Better result than last year, so collection of happy child)

That’s all folks.

Except for a photo of the carpet in the pub toilets we popped in to prior to last nights run.

My Grandma had similar carpet, I spent many an hour playing hopscotch on it – without chalk or stones! Ok I spent many a happy hour, hopping/jumping on the squares. Funny how you don’t think about something for years, then something triggers a memory and it all floods back?

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
