There are worse things in life than not being able to run but I am struggling to think of any.
There are worse things in life than training for an event for months, with many early morning Sunday runs, deep mud, huge hills to get within two weeks and to have to pull out, yes I am sure there is but I am so annoyed I am struggling to think of any.
Monday I ran 1 whole mile. The ankle felt odd but managed it.
Wednesday I tried for 2 miles. Not good.
Friday I have an appointment at a sports clinic. Sundays event participation hinges on that, until then I will rest it, elevate it, ice it, compress it, stretch it oh and CURSE it.
