Madam had part 5 of 6 in a cross country league today. When we heard it was to be held at Bovey Tracey, we hoped it was not at Parke the National Trust property where parkrun is held. Unfortunately it was. Why would we not want to go to this venue? Well rumour has it the parkrun course is TOUGH and talks of a ‘steep hill’. We walked the course, I can confirm that the hill is steep. Madam made me take photos half way up.

She was not impressed! The down was not great either with tree roots and steps to prevent any gain of pace.
I had a lovely day standing in the sun watching the runners in a beautiful location.
Madam decided it was the worse course EVER, she ran well, on a tough course with tough competition and hopefully will have moved up some positions in the league table.

I have still not run but hope to rectify that tomorrow at running club and then Tuesday with a long run along the coast.

Yes I thought of you on that hill and knew the reason we have not ventured to that Parkrun, that hill is definitely STEEP! Madam takes a great running shot every time which is something she does not inherit from me, like her long legs!

The hill does not look fun but I like your attempt to help her look at it from a different perspective. Great try mom! She looks like she has great form and what a beautiful day for a run.
