S + 3 m = tired

Just like algebra! This equation is true three hours shopping in Exeter, followed directly by a 3 mile hilly run gives you a tired Shaz!

Sales shopping with Madam this morning,  where I tried not to have palpitations over her buying a shirt for £30 and that was in the sale! Holister really this is daylight robbery! Fortunately this was the same colour, when we got it home as in it appeared in the shop, not, always the case with the Holister use of economic lighting. (Next time I will take my head torch)

Once home it was a quick change for me and out the door whilst the sun was still out. What a nice day. I did a three mile loop up around the village and pushed the pace a bit, stopping at the top to take these pics for you.

The chocolate for today is the silky hazelnut, one nut per mile.

One nut per milemmmmmmmmm yummy

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Hollister! Designed to exclude grown ups! I went there once to buy a gift for a god daughter, I can’t describe how old I felt, carrying a garment to a spotlight then having to get my glases out to check the size and the price tag!! You deserve a chocolate for that- are you on a 1per day ration? Good idea. I believe that they will keep, more than 2 days, just never tried!!!

I had a bourbon biscuit for every 20 mins of step 🙂

Daylight robbery…. Hollister… Tee hee! I have never stepped foot in the place – the dark and dingyness of it puts me off (that and my bum won’t fit and it sounds like my bank balance wouldn’t cope).

Hope today’s chocolate was nice! (who am I kidding – they’re all nice!)

There is something exhausting about shopping (especially for other people!!). Are you planning to run everyday?

  6. shazruns says:

Yes for me Janathon means a run EVERY day! Nothing less than a mile! But we will see!

    £30 for a shirt? I’m getting old.

That shopping counts as a bonus workout I reckon and I want that chocolate.

  10. I’m so impressed with your chocolate eating discipline!
