I contemplated running to the hospital to the x-ray appointment today but did think I would not make friends with the radiologist if I presented him with a sweaty, smelly foot to photograph. Instead I cycled, round trip 8 miles. The photographer admired my bunion, I thanked him, he took two pics and then I was released. Next step to make an appointment with the Doctor in a week to get the results.
As it was such a nice day I went for a lunch time walk admiring the wild flowers.
Wild rose
Wild grass
No idea
Honeysuckle
Granfather ‘pop’ out of bed
Cow Parlsey
Elderflower
Foxglove

About shazruns
I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
Lovely blooms
how gorgeous are those flowers?
Hope the doctor(s) are helpful. ๐
Only time will tell, slightly frustrating the amount of time it’s taking but really no urgency I guess, I just want to know why I can’t walk fluidly, so frustrating. Could be worse, so I shan’t complain.
Beautiful flowers – another thing I love about spring in Britain!
Is it painful when you run too?
No can run fine, can feel it but not sore and can run without limping, can’t stand on tip toes either!
gorgeous flowers… love how to you stop to take it all in ๐
I love foxgloves!
Funny how it doesn’t hurt when you run, maybe you should run everywhere? ๐
I love foxgloves also. I try to run everywhere but sometimes you jus have to walk!
