I went on a club run

We’re going on a club run.
Its not gonna be a long one
We’re going to have fun.
It’s a beautiful night. (well except for being humid and raining)

Ah Oh, long wet grass! Swishy-wishy grass.
We can.t go round it, we can’t go past it.
Ohhh NO!
We gotta go through it.
Swish swish, swish swish,
Squelch squerch, Squelch squerch,

We’re going on a club run.
Its not gonna be a short one
We’re might have fun.
Its not pouring yet.

Ah Oh, nettles in long grass.
We can’t go round them, we can’t go past them.
Ohhh NO!
We gotta go through them.
 Ouch sting, ouch sting,
 Ouch sting, ouch sting

In brief todays activities

  • 6 mile cycle ride at lunch time
  • 5,5 mile club run (though running through almost waist high wet grass, up hill must count as double this)
  • Itching of nettle stings-they are driving me crazy

(photos of club run to follow tomorrow when I have nothing to say! Almost like a blogoff offer!!!!Great survival of June tactic)

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
