Sidmouth

Today Madam and I ventured out to Sidmouth. Now

DSCN4132

I love the beautiful sea

(today it was very calm!)

I love the red cliffs and thatched houses

I love the flowers (although we were too late for the daffodils)

I love that it is an arcade free beach front.

I love that Madam will still spend some time throwing stones in the sea and let me chill and bask in the sun.

Most of all I love that when we go there I am one of the youngest people by about twenty years! Oh yes you just have to love Sidmouth.

Madam took this one!

Madam took this one!

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

I love all that blue! I really treasure being near the sea too and it’s always good to have a change of running venue.

I agree. It would be a great place to run however the steep up hill either side of the promenade that is only maybe half a mile long puts me off! Being near the sea has long been a dream of ours lovely to be living it now. Not walking distance but half an hour in the car we are there. Today the blues looked almost Aegean !
