Yesterday was meant to be LSR day but with Madam gone for the day, I opted for a day with hubby. We had a wet and dry weather plan, so glad we could do the dry one and spend the day outside in some glorious weather.
We headed to Dartmouth,
it was a little cloudy when we got there but soon brightened. We spent some time exploring,
and spaces between houses. need to be thin to go in this back garden!
We walked out to the Castle along the River Dart
admiring the views before stopping for Fish n Chips here
I took so many photos and lots for a new addition of Windows and Doors (knew you would be thrilled) (here is a preview
before returning to the car which was parked up by the Marina, I prefer these two boats to the posh, mega money ones and they lend themselves more to a photo.
Having spent the day watching the cars go back and forth across the River Dart on the little Car Ferry, even an Ambulance, it was fun and we will return with Madam soon.
we decided to give it a go, this is taken part way across
best of all though was spotting these catkins, which must mean we will get more days like this one right?
the weather looks so lovely! The doors and windows are beautiful, as are the simpler, colorful boats. Thanks for the mini-vacay!
A day with hubby sounds like a much better use of your time. Lovely pics!
Yay for days out with spouses/partners! Looks like you had a fine day! 🙂
We spent some time in Dartmouth a few years back, it is beautiful!
We have never been, but loved it. I or way saw signposts to Tuckenhay, thought of you!
Yes, it’s not too far. Love that part of the world!
nice!
Fab photos of what looks like a great day out. So jealous!
I recognize this place! (I think), isn’t this where the parking meter didn’t work????
Good choice! You can run whenever but quality spouse time is rare.
Oh yes, catkins! Saw them a couple of weeks ago too and honestly, they give me hope of great days and hopefully, better weather to come!
