Tonight after a super speedy fast 1 mile with hubby, I headed off to the local town to…………….. drum roll please………………… join the running Club, for this act of extreme bravery I award myself this
I am so proud of myself! What’s more I really enjoyed it, everyone was so friendly and chatty. Without saying too much the Wednesday night group I went to was just not working for me. I have high hopes that this will! Can’t wait till next Monday!
Glad to be home in the dry and warm and to be eating this, Curried Cauliflower Soup,
tomorrow I will post the recipe it is delicious, better than it looks and better than it sounds! Who knew a vegetable could taste that good?
Yay! Well done you! I second your award!
Thanks!
Ooh, I’ve been toying with joining a running club, but have been too scared! Maybe I should bite the bullet too π
Yes do, I have lots of bravery awards to give out
It’s always scary starting something new, I hate it! Hope this group is better than the other one. Well done you!
Thanks
I was thinking about joining a club too (in between dying after sprints). I’m terrible though with new people! I did get chatting to the guy in the local running shop who recommended a couple and I said I’d join but that was 2 years ago…
Oh I know I am bad too at meeting new people, think you should give it a go, I will pass the bravery award on if you do!
Hurrah! Definitely an award for bravery, though after two weeks you’ll be wondering why it seemed like such a scary thing.
Am hoping.
mmm – recipe please! I was just as nervous about joining the Ladies Joggers..
well done, I keep toying with the idea of joining a club be always talk myself out of it!! looking forward to your recipe π
Here you go…..a bravery award!
Sounds like a nice running club, well done for getting out there and giving it a go π
Very well done, brave one! I hope it is all you want/need it to be!
I’ve never seriously thought about joining a running club … but several mentions in Janathon blogs are getting me thinking about it. π
Sounds like a good move as perhaps they will know where to run traffic free in your neck of the woods.
Yes I am hoping come the lighter nights to find some off road runs
Excellent. Well done. I started back at the gym after several weeks off and that was daunting……and I didn’t have to talk to anyone!! ππ
Thanks for the trophys!
Ooh how exciting! Dare I ask which club?
MMmmmmmm that sounds delish! And well done for changing groups if the old one wasn’t working for you.
