There was an old Shaz who swallowed a fly, I don’t know why she swallowed a fly but might have something to do with gasping for breath at the top of a hill so having mouth wide open!. Its the middle of December for goodness sake why are the flies still here?
This mornings 6 mile run was damp, well that’s why I thought till I got home and realised that running in light rain for an hour actually makes you very wet. Yucky weather here in Devon today.
Our Christmas preparations continued today with me creating a new wreath
and a new decoration for the tree
Hubby and I played selotape (scotch tape) wars with Madam as we tried to wrap presents and she tried to do her science homework. Christmas Eve dinner was made and frozen. Red cabbage cooked and frozen for the big day and tonight’s job once Madam is in bed is the creation of the Christmas crackers.
Phew! Believe me this is not normal service. Traditionally (for this is the time of year for traditions) hubby and I wrap presents till the early hours on the 24th! Something very odd going on this year I am super organised and ahead of the game of course this could and probably will go all pear shape nearer the big day. But for now I will enjoy some smugness in my organisedness!
love the Christmas decorations! I think there is something in the air, as we’re remarkably organised for Christmas this year too. I’m not usually wrapping on Christmas Eve, but not too far before!
Tell me about the red cabbage please! I`ve never cooked it though I love eating it and love the idea of cooking it in advance.
Okay tomorrow’s post will be entitled Red Cabbage for Red Hen!
you are so organised! and has your next craft box arrived?? what is in it??
Yes is has but it’s been filed till the New Year when all will be revealed!
