I was right….

Devon looks better when its not raining!

Our day started in Lyme Regis (ok I know this is in Dorset)DSCN3533where one of us impersonated the French Lieutenant’s Woman in a non red head, non cloak wearing kind of way

DSCN3542

as the day continued so the weather improved.

We saw this beauty just outside Sidmouth,

before we ended our tour at Ladram Bay

where the sun glistened on the sea.

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Oh marvellous! Your photos and presentation are just wonderful. Well done you!
Haha! to the Meryl Streep impersonation! There`s, um, maybe a certain likeness in the stance…
Lovely to see all those parts of England that I`ll probably never get to-and that possibly a lot of England will never get too either! Enjoy your break!

Being the “overseas visitor” I MUST say the rain did not affect the beauty of Devon at all!!! Sharon is a terrific “tour guide”, so any future visitors take note!!!! I loved, loved, loved Devon and hope to be fortunate enough to take another tour sometime!!! Thanks for the memories!!!! xoxox
