LSR

Sunday is the day for the LSR. This week my plan called for ‘5M (approx 48 mins) steady’ now by my reckoning this could be prosecuted under the trade description act, as 5 miles is not a long run, and in 48 mins would not make it slow.

I did not manage it yesterday so set out today and was so lucky with the weather, the sun made a brief appearance. The hills of Devon made it a tough run but I tried really hard. Aided by the down hills I managed the run in the  alloted time-almost, well it does say approximately.

I did stop though, once to take my coat off and the other to capture this beauty

so maybe that time should not stand!

Off to study tomorrows run that looks so complicated I will need to take a calculator with me!

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
