Normal service for a Saturday meant of course – parkrun
Mile one-slower than last week, but cooler
Mile one and a bit-met a girl from New Zealand running in sandles, she flew past me on the down, but I tromped her on the hill, she was enjoying the view!
Mile two-I met Steph who was marshalling, we had met cyberally quite a while ago and although she has run Killerton a few times, this is the first time we have met formally! I do hope she did not mind my sweaty hand as I ran over to her to introduce myself. Ewwwww
Mile three-When the Garmin buzzed I glanced down at it, something I rarely do and realised that if I got a wriggle on I could get a PB, so I did and I did, by 6 seconds!
This afternoons trip was to the Seaton Tramway. We parked at Colyton, not far from the Church with a two shaped tower, seems the square bit is 12th century and the round bit added 200 years later!
We caught the Number 12 Tramto Seaton.
but to be honest not much else!
We caught the Number 11 (in Essex pink) back to Colyton
yeah! a PB!
Well done on your PB. We chickened out of the parkrun today and had a lie in.
Well done – what happened to little madam – did she stay in bed? Or was she too full after the giant cheese straw?
Forgotten to mention beating the fairy godmother at word games!
Mmmm not ALL the games, unfortunately!
we don’t normally run in sandals here…how bizarre?
not those hobbit like feet shoes? they are common here:)…
She was a travelling kiwi and guess sandles less bulky than trainers in tat case, she was doing really well.
