Staycation day 5

Hubby was in charge of todays trip which is always kind of worrying. I was in charge of map reading which was not worrying at all. Our destination was Salcombe. We have decided after a lovely day there that it is one of our newest favourite places, pencilled in for many future trips. This is why…

Great place to watch boats

with great scenery

amazing cheese straws

lovely beaches to get a ferry to

lovely flowers (yes I know their name just can’t spell it)

and the most amazing plentiful show of star fish I have ever seen.

The day rounded off nicely with hubby cooking diner after I had shown him where the kitchen was!

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Oh, I`m really enjoying your staycation! And perfect weather for it too! Thanks for the pics!

  2. Salcombe is really nice. Your first photo caught my eye in particular; I have an identical picture from a trip we made there not that long ago. It is a good view!
