Staycation day 4

Yet another glorious day down here in the south-west.

Today we headed to Cornwall to Madam’s favourite beach. We know this is her favourite place to surf but even so it was very obvious when we got there and she was in the sea within two minutes instead of asking the usual ‘can I have something to eat please’. She surfaced eventually with blisters to both hands from gripping the board so hard, this put pay to any more boarding so time was spent crabbing, playing bat and ball and climbing this hill with me.

Madam took this pic of a loan surfer on the climb

who on closer inspection seems to have lost his board, so maybe its a loan swimmer. Hope he watched out for the jelly fish apparently they were abundant today.

She also took this pic showing the hotel she would like to stay in, but at £300 a night she will have to save her pennies or marry rich.

The climb was worth catching this view over the other side of the hill

yet another glorious sight down here in the south-west.

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
