Auntie and I had a leisurely day booked which was just as well as I was awake much of the night with tooth ache, am thinking maybe falsies at this point might be a good idea.

We arrived in Exeter just after 9 o’clock and parked in the darkest car park I have ever been in, seriously I kept trying to take my sunglasses off it was so dark in there.

Along the quay are some nice independent shops which we perused in at length, the best type of shopping, looking no buying.

We became aware that a lot of people had congregated nearby and with the arrival of a boat, it became evident why. The boat was transporting Gorillas. These Gorillas are along the same line as the eggs madam and I saw last year in London, similar to Colchester zoo’s giraffes and to Bristol’s Gromits. Paignton zoo is 95 years old this year and they have organised this, most of the apes are along the English Rivera but the ones that arrived in the City today will be staying here.

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Ouch! with the toothache! I know that pain! Worse than childbirth! Hope you getting something strong to zap it-and a dental appointment too, of course.
