Our day at the Air Show was
- Grumpy (Madam not liking the heat)
- Amazing (The Red Arrows)
- Clever (Parachute team)
- Scary (The Vulcan)
- Expensive (£2.00 for a bottle of water?)
- Cheap (free tickets for us)
- Brief (too HOT)
I love the Red Arrows always have done so was very excited that they were starting the show off. I almost got them in this shot.. they are so darn fast! This one is betterbut this is the best
Hubby was equally excited to see the Vulcan
very noisy but suprisingly graceful.
For those of you wondering (not many I know) if I managed the required 3 mile run-I didn’t I just could not wake up.
Maybe the half marathon plan will start this Monday then! Oops
I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

great photos as always
Killer heat here too. Loving it though. Except when running. Or trying to sleep!
That would be all the time then, because surely that’s all we do Ron and sleep!
Gosh, yes, sleep sure complements running!
The red arrows randomly (obviously not random at all as they were on formation) flew overhead while I was playing tennis the other week. Worth missing a serve for! Awesome.
I intended to enjoy the cool morning and run early. Didn’t happen.
Night run it is – Never as much fun with Monday looming.

Awesome is the word and a great excuse for missing a serve!
Gah! A you can see from the different avatar thingies, something weird was going on during posting of comments and I didn’t think it had registered. It actually did this 3 times, hence the much shortened comment that HAS appeared.
