This morning at a ridiculously early hour for a Sunday I jumped in the car drove half an hour to
to run 13 miles. I ran from Sampford Peverell to Tiverton along this
nice wide, flat paths (except for the detour which made me grumpy as it had hills.) I got to the end…..
which was really the middle and turned around to head back. I can’t lie the last three miles were tough, tougher and toughest but was rewarded with a last mile that was faster than most of the others.
These fluffy beauties were hoping I had some food for them at the end, in fact my stomach was also wishing the same!
Not a bad route, one I will do again when they have sorted out the flooding at Halberton, the best thing was it had toilets at the beginning, middle and end, what more could a girl want?
Fantastic run!Go you!I envy your ability to get up early.Lovely pics, thank you!
how cute are those cygnets? great mileage!! well done x
Canal paths are the best, aren’t they? I did most of my training for my first marathon (many moons ago) along Nottingham’s canals and those of the surrounding areas. Lovely.
Awwww. Cygnets!
Wow check you out running a half marathon all on your own! Well done!
