This morning was parkrun with Madam-ofcourse

  • One of us had a good run
  • One of us didn’t
  • One of us was happy at the end
  • One of us wasn’t
  • One of us felt guilty and worried
  • One of us was just plain miserable
  • One of us forgot to take Mrs Garmin
  • One of us plain did not care to know what the time was
  • One of us got a PB
  • One of us diidn’t
  • One of us will volunteer next week
  • One of us will have better 5K next week- I hope

This afternoon was spent gardening and planting these beans

and keeping Caroline the sheep (mother of Riley) off my Clematis. Obviously the flower must be very tasty as that is barbed wire she is standing on!

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

No matter what the outcome of the run, you`re already winners just for getting out there.
