Success all round

With my fortnight off work fast coming to an end, I thought it best to tackle one of those jobs I have been meaning do during the two weeks and that was the dreaded sorting out of the wardrobe.

I located

  • One sports bra never seen in Devon, infact I thought it was left in Essex
  • Running capris I forgot I had
  • An earring thats partner I threw out last month!
  • 10p
  • One running sock bought this week and lost within 12 hours of arriving home
  • A Kelly Holmes running top I bought in the hope it had magical powers
  • A pillow case ironed yesterday and then vaporised
  • Overnight bag-needed for next week
  • A bag full or London Marathon Souvenirs from 05 and 07 that will make it in to a scrapbook one day (an hour lost looking through this!) more on this in future blog.
  • Clothes no longer needed moved to a charity bag
  • A sweatshirt with a paint stain perfect to keep me warm next Sunday pre the start
  • Paperwork needing to be filed
  • Two wigs that need to go in the loft (don’t ask)

All this was after Killerton parkrun, back at its home and slightly less hilly course where I managed to beat madam and both of us got a PB. (Official results not in yet)

So yes a successful day all round.

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

I’ve been holding onto a silver hoop earring for nearly 2 years now, knowing that it’s partner will never show up (because it was flung by my scarf into the Passaic river while watching my son row). But ever the optimist, I can’t dream of throwing it away!

Haha! Love the list! Sooooo glad you got that warm up top though. Yay! for the reappearing sports bra. And yes, I will be nosey and ask what the hell are you doing with two wigs?;-)

If you ever want to add a Cher wig to your collection, I have one going free to a good home 🙂
