I was notified last week that I was a winner and then I discovered this on the Killerton Park run website

so very excited and pleased. Can’t wait to get in to Exeter and get some new trainers but must admit having just bought two new pairs I might opt for a flash ‘leisure’ pair. (Watch this space) It makes those Killer hills all worth it!

I was glad that at 6.15 am today it was light enough for a run, not so pleased with the minus 3 temperature though or the minus 20 wind chill factor. 4 mile steady run done now trying to work out how to fit in my other runs this week around everything else that is happening!

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

M and D are thrilled for you – now you are a professional – D had to pay £5 to have a pair made to fit – then that was sixty years ago
