Like most people I would guess I have had enough of this cold spell. Ever time I run my nose pours constantly (mind you can do this in the warm) so now it’s sore, I am fed up with the after run headache because the cold air has wormed it’s way well and truly in to my sinus’s I am also tired of not being able to get warm after a run despite a hot shower, last night I went to bed fully clothed (romance well and truly dead here if I am cold!) as I just could not warm up. Sunshine soon please or at least a little warmth.
Last nights Women On The Run group was hard or at least I found it so, I think in part due to eating dinner before going. After a slight warm up we had to get in pairs and one go clockwise and one anti-clockwise around a small loop and see who got back first. It was fun and really made you work hard, fortunately my partner and I were evenly matched and I did not embarrass myself. Energy levels not great and I was soon well and truly knackered.
Whilst madam was doing her second endurance session at Harriers tonight, I did some intervals in the car park not very scenic but I did discover a nice bike path that will be great to run on when its lighter (and warmer) in the evenings, can’t wait!
Cold weather be gone

So agree am completely sick of the cold, sick of not being able to warm up, of getting home colder rather than warmer than I started. Bring in the sunshine…
sounds fun!! thats what i need here 🙂 have to say will gladly swap heat for cold at this stage…all our grass is brown…its terrible getting to sleep with the heat…BUT it is cool about 6am when running….so not all bad..
totally with you on the weather, so depressing, my running endorphins are even naffed off!!
I’m ready for spring too! One more long run on the treadmill and I may decide this running thing is not for me!
The intervals obviously did the trick given your pb on Saturday.
