Oh dear they changed the Killerton route, AGAIN, apparently to make it ‘easier for runners and volunteers’, mmmmmm. Easier in as far as it was almost three complete loops rather than the two large and one small (some people got an amazing PB last week as did not do last loop!) However it was far from an easy course. This is evident in the results where only one person got a PB out of the 67 that ran. Each loop had a steep hill followed by a long gradual hill. Madam suffered, this is evident in the results which show I beat her by a minute! (oops). Thanks go to a lovely female runner who got her running again on a hill something I would not have been able to do, she would have just grumbled at me!
Next week we will return to conquer the hill and hopefully beat this weeks time!
I wore my new trail trainers today as wanted to check they were ok for tomorrows 10K Slay the Dragon run.
Hee Hee, I never take encouragement well from someone I know when I’m struggling on a run! Far better coming from a stranger! Even when I’m with my personal trainer and he can see I’m struggling I don’t like it, I know what he’s doing and it makes it worse!
OMG LOVE THE TRAIL SHOES!!! How do they run?
Trial shoe comfier than road ones at the moment, road ones are taking a while to adjust too. (Both men’s btw) from Freeport
Best wishes Sharon
