Away and Home

Madam and I returned yesterday from our trip to Essex, in the four days we managed to pack in lots of catch up sessions with friends and family and I managed two runs. The second of which was dangerous for two reasons one being the slippery conditions under foot and the other the lack of public toilets in the countryside!

I also fitted in a visit to the local Asics outlet which was dangerous for my bank account! I purchased these beauties

trainerswhich very importantly colour coordinate with my carcarperfect! I took the trainers on a 3 mile spin today, my feet complained a bit which just goes to show how worn out my old ones are.

Todays great excitement was discovering these cuties in the field behind our house

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
