The VLM training plan wanted 5 mile yesterday. It did not get it!
Madam wanted to go for a 2 mile run, however when she got home from school several factors did not make this a nice prospect.
- It was drizzling
- It was miserable (and me)
- My legs still ached due to Nell ***** McAndrew
- Dinner needed to be prepped
- I was not feeling 100%
We discussed whether we should go out or not. In the end Madam took charge and decided to flip a coin, “it its heads we will go” she said. Tails tails tails I prayed. It was heads. Madam struggles to roll a dice so I should have called for a re flip, but we went out, it was a steady run and I was glad we went out and even gladder not to do the 5 miles.
Today after school was horse riding. Madam’s stead of the day was called Holly. Well she was prickly alright. Towards the end of the lesson at a point when it was time to canter the pony decided to take off at great speed (o to 60 in 60 seconds) Madam hung on and very unlike her she screamed. They came to a stop in the middle of the arena. The teacher started to go towards them, this spooked Holly who decided to dump her precious load unceremoniously in the mud. SPLAT! Madam was winded, scared, shocked and not HAPPY, but fortunately the only thing hurt was her pride!
Off to write to Findus to see if they could use Holly!
I used to eat lots of findus food products – a long time ago. Maybe that’s why my weight was stable back then.
Love it or maybe that’s why you run so fast!
I wish it was only Findus we would need to worry about… Seriously, this new meat scandal is making me finally considering to become a vegetarian. I don’t have any trust in meat labelling anymore. I wonder if the organic meat I have been buying is all what it it is promised to be… watch out you green smoothies – I am coming after you. 🙂
