Weather was foul today so it was a ‘quick as you can’ (not very) 1.5 mile run at lunch time. Hibernation continued for the rest of the day.
So glad that Virgin London Marathon email me weekly with a count day to the big day. 12 weeks does not sound nearly long enough so will think 3 months instead. On the upside the communication also tells me not to worry! (As if) It offered this sensible piece of advice also ‘ Don’t worry about the distances other people are currently running or the number of events they are participating in though, as the only thing that matters is you and your training schedule.’ and ‘Running too frequently or too hard will lead to overuse injuries’ so maybe I should take the rest of January off!
