Yep Friday we woke to high winds and rain so decided on a visit to some caves up near Bodmin.
The journey there was not great due to rain of biblical proportions and traffic due to everyone leaving Cornwall due to the rain of biblical proportions.
The Carnglaze Caverns are man-made and were a slate mine. It was interesting seeing the coloured rocks and the effect it had on the water. When we came out of the caves it was still raining, what a surprise, and by this point the road was closed so we could only leave one way.
We decided to visit Megavissey using my brilliant map reading skills. The village was busy as is a bit of a tourist trap but we did manage to wander around in the dry and get an ice cream. We also saw this fine sea-faring vessel.
