Cornwall 2012

Yesterday we started our family holiday in Cornwall, the first week we are spending in a flat overlooking this

In Marazion then we will go to Hayle for a week where we spent two weeks last year.
We hope to drink plenty of this!!!

Today we were up before 8 (not popular with all the family!) I headed out for a run along this path that runs along the coast and just in front of the flat.

20120812-172445.jpg I headed towards Penzance for 15 minutes before turning around to head back.
When I got back madam was in the sea enjoying the surf and I sat on the sea wall watching her before heading in for brekkie and a cup of tea.
The rest of the day was spent on the beach opposite St Michaels Mount, thank goodness for the windbreak!!
Crabs were caught, frisbees thrown, lunch eaten before heading back to the flat for a cup of tea to warm up.
Bad hair day for certain!,

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
