Countryside running

Yesterday was celebrated by myself receiving

20120215-162439.jpg and madam and I making

20120215-162601.jpgfor hubby.
That was the ends of the romance though as last night I spent in spare room due to the snoring coming from hubby! Normal service was resumed.
Today I went up to see my mum and dad and left them with madam whilst I went for a run around the country lanes. Dad’s 6/7 miles turned out to be nearer 7 and half. Nice run for the most part in which I spotted sheep, pigs, geese, swans, pheasant and two other runners! The wind whistled across the reservoir bringing me to a stand still and the hills nearly killed me. Next time I run this circular route I will do it the other way in the hope that the up hills will be as less as the down hills were today!
Back for a lovely shower and home made egg sandwich and cake for lunch. Yum

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
