The Wind was blowing blustery

Madam does not have school today but I have work (Boo) so as she was at a sleepover at Grandma’s so I had planned to run to the gym, complete the workout there and run home so completing the 4 mile run called for this week. I am not sure about gym etiquette but assume arriving for my session looking like a drowned rat and then dripping over the machines would be frowned on, so instead braved the blowy wet weather for my slow 4 miles. This was very slow due to the wind bringing me to a stand still on more than one occasion. Fortunately Mr Garmin was out of charge this morning (no staying power) so I don’t know how slow which is just as well I would think.

Off to the Wirral this afternoon where apparently the wind is worse (fantastic) so no exercise for tomorrow, but least tonight will be able to check up on the Janathon blogs whilst in the hotel room.

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Well done for being so brave. You could just of told people you have a perspiration problem, they would have understood!

  3. I’m with you on the ‘working, but child not at school’ thing… booo indeed. Still… one day, they will be at work and I shall be sitting at home in my slippers 🙂

I like the alliteration as pointed out by Abradypus! A very apt picture, and yes, why aren’t you doing Janathon?
