Apologies

Due to technical difficulties (stupidity coupled with what we call at work ‘user error’) and some bouts of laziness the long-awaited for blog Mr Garmin V Mrs Runkeeper will be unavoidable delayed. We thank you for your patience and hope to bring this report to you tomorrow, we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

I’m on the edge of my seat and my fingernails are bitten to the quick. The suspense is killing me 🙂

I still can’t decided which I prefer – I like the runkeeper facebook thing but garmin seems more accurate…

I tried them both the other day because my garmin was taking a long time to find the satellites, however by the time I was read to run they were both ready. I think I prefer my garmin, although that may have a lot to do with the fact that it said I’d run further than runkeeper did 😉
