Run 1 of 5

This morning I woke up early all hot and sweaty, I’d not even been dreaming about Brad Pitt! I realised why I had woken up like this when I stepped out the front door, it was so mild, in fact it was beyond mild it was HOT, it was an amazing 15.5 degrees! Sheer madness for 5 am on the 31 October.

Very non eventful run except for the excitement of seeing three other runners. Took comfort in the fat that I am not the only idiot in the area!

Madam's cat 'o' latern!

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Apparently the hottest October on record! I understand how you felt… it was still warm when I went to club tonight and I’d decided to wear some strange stripy tights affair which definitely added to the warmth of the run!! 🙂
