This morning I did 4 miles of ‘fartlek’, running hard between street corners, lamp posts or trees, it was amazingly hot.
Today was Macmillan Coffee morning at work and I made these ’99’ cupcakes:-
My ‘hump’ got bigger this morning when I was in Madam’s school office and discovered three members of the school staff have a place in VLM- THREE!!! thats just not fair.
Anyway last night in a fit of madness and humpiness I registered for the Milton Keynes marathon, so whilst watching Carla do her 26.2 miles I will be thinking oh **** I have to do that next week!!!!
Off to check out which plan I should use.
P.S. Skechers pro speed trainers arrived today, they are very bright, smell great (shame that wont last) and are very bouncy (hope that lasts) slightly concerned I will fall over on my inaugural run, oh well, least that will make an amusing blog entry!
OMG that cupcake looks AMAZEBALLS!! WANT!!! NOW!!!! PLEASE!!! I think you’ll be OK in the shoes – I found the first half a mile hard, then my gait changed a bit, then it felt comfy! And seeing as I fall over on the flip of a coin, am sure you’ll be fine.
That cupcake looks huge! London may be the marathon everyone wants, but is it a first and does it have a stadium finish? No and no. MK will be great.
agree! those cupcakes look amazing!! enjoy the shoes, mine not come yet 🙂
Wow, that cupcake looks yummy scrummy! 🙂
Yayyyy MK here we come!!!
I’m realistically aiming for between 4 and half and 5 hours (my heart would love to say sub four but my head knows that I’m just not fast enough). How about you?
