Forgetful run

No I did not forget to run, in fact day one of my ‘must do more running’ regime saw me get up just after the alarm and pound the streets for 5 miles in just a smidgen over 50 minutes. Whilst running I was thinking (multi-tasking at its best) about things I need to get done, thought of one thing and made a mental note to write it down when home, then thought of another thing, by this time I had forgotten the first thing and by the time I got home had forgotten both! Must take pen and paper with me in future. Uneventful run except for a Hovis lorry pulling up to the kerb and stopping, he may have been lost but I kept my head down and ran on.

Cycled to work and stopped at the gym on the way home am now very knackered tired in a post exercise kind of way.

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Brilliant – good to see you are back on the wagon! Are you coming to watch RPH or have you got the hump that you didn’t get in still 😉
