Triathlon week

Not much running this week which is not all my fault honest, hubby has been working away so this means running impossible to fit in. Thursday I did run to the gym and back though, but that was 4 miles all week which is really not good enough.

Last Sunday I took madam swimming and did again today when I managed to do 20 lengths of breast stroke, was very cold today in the water so I did not hang around, the shower after was pure heaven so warm.

They are doing road works on the busiest roundabout in town for the next month, on the first day it took me 45 minutes to get to work (20 mins usually), so cycled twice to avoid this occuring again. Total 16 miles.

Gym on Thursday and Saturday.

Not a lazy week really on reflection but need to sort this running out, having just watched the Great North Run feel I need to get back in to it.

Hope to report more running this week.

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

Hope you have a good week xx

That’s more than enough exercise to make up for not running. Enjoy your running next week!

I agree with Alma – that sounds like plenty of exercise, even if there wasn’t as much running as you would have liked!

So other than a 67 minute half-marathon, what’s your next running goal? 😉
