So when did it become dark at 5.30 a.m again?

Could not believe it was dark when I lept crawled out of bed this morning, I feel I have not made the most of the light mornings, should have ran more in the light while I could, must remember this next year.

Ran to Gym, the legs felt good, did my Gym thing for almost an hour then ran home when the legs did NOT feel good, more like jelly. Unfit so unfit bah.

Resisted the temptation to advise the man on the treadmill the whole time I was in there that running outside on a beautiful morning like it was today is soooooooooooo much nicer than being stuck in smelly, hot Gym, he was bigger and faster than me so kept kept zipped!

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

LOL – some people just prefer the boring dreadmill…

But they are clearly wrong. Even in vile weather, outdoors wins. I’m impressed with the run gym run combo. Keep that up and you won’t be unfit for very long.
