Light at the end of the tunnel

Verse 2
I’m going on a June run
Its the penultimate one
I’m not that tired
What a beautiful night
Ah oh mud thick gooey mud
Can’t get around it
Can’t step over it
Can’t  go through it
I’ll just have to leap for it
Oops-Squelch plod squelch plod
Thank god almost done Juneathon

Was sorely tempted to sit in with my copy of Runners World when I saw Mr Bolt of the cover, but knew I could not quit this close, so headed out quite late in the day for me for a run. Not being the brightest of people I opted for the River run forgetting the rain we had recently, returned home with one black sock/trainer and one whitish one, roll on July first when I can wash both of them.

Todays totals 8 mile bike ride 6 mile run

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!
