The original plan for exercise today was:-
- Run to gym
- Gym 1 hour
- Run home from gym
- Cycle to work 4 miles
- Cycle home from work 4 miles
When I awoke with the alarm at 5:15 am I realised another plan would need to be formulated, I am not up on gym etiquette yet being a newbie, but something told me arriving like a drowned rat and dripping all over the equipment would not endear me to my fellow gymers.
So I drove to the gym. On arrival my card would not open the door, the girl on the desk had to phone the man inside to get him to let me in (she did not have a key she explained!) on entry I explained that my card would not work to which Mr Grumpy Monday Morning Gym Man said as way of explanation “it wont because I’ve not turned the card reader on yet”, customer service obviously not his forte. I was thrilled after finishing the treadmill to find my friend on the adjacent machine, she had been there a while but I am so terrified of falling off the machine I keep my eyes front to avoid veering either way. Two shazruns in one gym could be a recipe for disaster, ok she is at the shazpowerwalk stage but only a matter of time. Made a date to meet again Thursday night.
Drove to work, drove home from work. Heated through leftovers for hubbys dinner (tasted better than it sounds), put mine in the oven and went for a quick (for me) one mile.

- One cycle ride cancelled
- One quick mile completed in 8.38
