Totals for today
- 1 hour gym
- 1 mile run
- 5.87 mile bike ride (tempted to do .13 round the block but madam has not had much sleep so really more than my life was worth!)
Hit gym at 6.15, this was very non-eventful managed to watch the Hoobs too, so that was good. Dropped car at home and then ran to get madam from sleep over, legs more leaden this time. After seeing the foal on my run yesterday knew the little person would love to see it also, so after catching up on BGT we set off on the bikes along the river. This time there was a different foal, (either that or someone had painted it brown over night), still very cute. We braved the nasty stinging nettles to feed the horses fresh long green grass and eventually mum came over with babe. Then we sat by the lock for a snack and looked at the boats/barges moored up. Pub for lunch was the next port of call and on the way we stopped to stroke more horses, these we named Freckles, King, Prince of lightness and Freckles II. The nearly 6 miles took 5 hours to do so not much cardio work in that, but very enjoyable day. Now sat in garden where I intend to spend the rest of the day.
Enjoy your sunbathing!
sounds like a really nice day 🙂
Looking forward to the cake recipe!
Yum! Cake! Thinking of making one myself tomorrow!
Sounds like a lovely day… Am looking forward to the recipe already
Cheers for cute foals! Jeers for stinging nettles! I liked your diversity of exercise choices. That kind of thing serves me well too, to shore up my motivation… that & if/when I am paying for fitness, then I show up (like classes or a gym)!
It all sounds lovely. I’ve gone a little green with envy, truth be told.
Eagerly awaiting the cake recipe. Perhaps there should be a cakeathon.
Aah, what a truly lovely sounding day. Lovely pic too. 🙂
I’m jealous! No wonder I had a grumpy no4!
Parsnips are vegetables aren’t they? I think that must make the cake zero weight watchers points (or almost)!
Enjoy the sun 🙂
Bags of running, cycling, gyming, walking, time with family, friends AND baking cakes! Wow. Spot on! I think you’ve got Juneathon well and truly sorted. Well done you!
That really does sound like a wonderful day. Ian forgot to include canals in the list of awesomeness.
