Smug Shaz

Today the new rabbit hutch arrived, in flat pack form!

Madam had a friend to play so I was free to be Bob the builder to put it together. The instructions were the typical flat pack variety, numbers and pictures and NO words. Bugger I do like the written word that says fix A to B using C. Oh well not to be put off I unpacked the parts and set to.

The run went together quite easily:-

Then on to the more difficult part the Hutch-gulp. this was not as bad as anticipated once I worked out a part was damaged in transit, once I fixed this all went smoothly. End product:-

Was so pleased with myself, old hutch taken apart and in the bin, rabbits safely in their new home. I did get hot and sweaty, the heart rate increased at times so will count that as my exercise today!

About shazruns

I have been running since 2004 when I decided to do the Race for Life, as a close friend was terminally ill with cancer. Following that I did a couple of 10km at Leeds castle and Sandringham. Then in 2005 ran my first London marathon, then another in 2007 in blistering temperatures. I have entered the London marathon every year since but have been rejected, am now find maintaining my fitness & motivation hard, so when the email came through about Janathon I thought why not! Am hoping this helps with fitness, motivation and weight loss!! Wish me luck!

V impressed. Are the bunnies suitably appreciative?

Wow – you are impressive! I must admit tho I do think us women are better at putting flatpack together as we can actually FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS!!!

  3. Hutch-assembly interval training. Like it.

Crikey! I am looking at that in complete amazement. I can’t cope with a simple flatpack Ikea table!! Definitely counts as your exercise for the day. I was planning to go out and mow the lawn for my day’s exercise, unfortunately the grass is so long it’s covered in dandelions and bees… I have an irrational fear of bees… so couldn’t possibly mow the lawn… well, that’s my excuse anyway!!

I am terrible at assembling stuff. I find it very stressful. I think you can certainly count it as exercise for the day!
