Finally today I got to do some exercise that can be entered in to runsaturday . Monday I received an email from them detailing my massive activity last week which was a 5 mile run. I could feel the disapproval emitting from the communication, ‘you slacker ‘ it seemed to be saying. I wanted to reply to it and say ‘I’m not a slacker I can’t run because she told me not to’ but that seemed childish.
Today the car needed to have an MOT and of course the original plan was to drop it off run home and then run back later to collect it. That plan was sidelined last week by the physio and her no running order, so it became drop the car off and walk in to town for some retail therapy plan. The walk was a mile there and a mile back (probably 3miles in out of shops but had turned Mr Garmin off by then) this took a total of 30 mins 54 seconds. The retail therapy was not so productive. I need to get a new shock absorber bra, but want one without straps. Now I know that does not make sense but let me explain, one that does not have bra type straps but vest top type straps. This is what I am using at the moment. Had no luck with this whatsoever, most of the ones I saw needed you to have a degree in rocket science to work out what goes where, they looked like something Houdini would have spent considerable time trying to escape from. Imagine trying to get your body in to that kind of contraption at 4 a.m-No thanks. How can they be comfortable? So this afternoon with my trusty bag of peas safely residing on my knee I plan on surfing the web for a new sports bra.
The other form of exercise tonight will be ten pin bowling. Madam is away so Mum and Dad plan on a night out consisting of dinner followed by bowling, yep we know how to live dangerously. I am sure I can enter that on runsaturday so that is good 2 lots of exercise in one day.
